Holy Nations — Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Holy Nations. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Holy Nations mobile application ("the app"), provided by Elion Labs ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Use of the app

Holy Nations is provided for personal, non-commercial use. You may read, bookmark, highlight, and share content within the app for your own study, prayer, and reflection. You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to reverse-engineer it, or use it in any way that violates applicable law.

2. Accounts

Some features require signing in with a third-party provider (such as Google). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

3. Content and intellectual property

The app, its design, code, and original content are owned by Elion Labs and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Scriptural texts, prayers, and traditional liturgy included in the app are drawn from public-domain or appropriately licensed sources. You may not copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit the app or its content without our written permission.

4. User content

Highlights, bookmarks, and notes you create in the app belong to you. By using the app, you grant us a limited license to store and sync that content on your behalf solely for the purpose of providing the app's features.

5. Purchases and subscriptions

Any purchases or subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's terms. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their policies.

6. Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content will always be accurate or complete. Holy Nations is a tool to support personal practice; it is not a substitute for religious, medical, legal, or professional advice.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elion Labs and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the app.

8. Changes to the app and these terms

We may update the app and these Terms from time to time. Material changes to the Terms will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time if you violate these Terms or misuse the service. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
